Struan Moore is set to return to the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup in 2019, racing for brand new outfit Jenson Team Rocket RJN. Moore, the reigning British GT Silver Cup Champion, will pilot the team’s new 2019 Evo-spec Honda NSX GT3, entered in the highly competitive Silver Cup class as part of the team’s debut campaign in Europe.

While Jenson Team Rocket RJN is a new name to the Blancpain GT paddock, the effort is being run by the highly experienced RJN crew, headed up by team owner Bob Neville, who Moore has been racing with the past two seasons in the Endurance Cup and the British GT Championship.

This season does bring with it anew-look for the RJN team though, as its new high-profile partnership with 2009 Formula One World Champion and reigning Super GT Champion Jenson Button gives the team a chance to race with Honda and it’s customer GT3 car for the first time.

Prior to the season opener later this month, Moore managed to test the car for the first time during the official Blancpain GT Series test days at Circuit Paul Ricard in France. There he was able to get his first taste of the NSX GT3 and help the team get up to speed.

The Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup curtain-raiser at Monza is set to be held on April 14th.

Struan Moore:

“It’s fantastic to be returning with RJN as part of the new team partnership with former F1 World Champion Jenson Button in the Blancpain Endurance Series. I’m looking forward to racing the Honda NSX GT3 for the first time this year, it’s a car that’s a product of years of development work, and has already proven to be among the best in the current crop of GT3 cars globally.

“I also feel that the continuity of racing with Bob (Neville) and the RJN team once again is really important for me personally, helping me develop my skills as a driver further.

“I can’t wait to put my last few years of experience racing in the Blancpain GT Endurance Cup into good use and continue to prove myself.”
